Audrey at 5 months!

This blog update could also be titled 'The Many Hairstyles of Audrey Arminda' or 'How to Do a Two Week Trip to the Coast and Visit Dozens of Friends and Do Lots of Things and Come Home With Only Photos of Your Baby and Husband'.

Seriously, how do I not have a single photo of anyone else, or the places we were?  My travel blog has officially become my baby blog!  Anyhow, after a lovely early summer here in Nelson, we headed to Vancouver, the Island, the Sunshine Coast and Squamish and Whistler for Nelson's 7-day BC Bike Race, and to visit lots of wonderful friends and their kids, as well as to meet some new little ones. 

Audrey had some firsts - her first time camping, riding in a bike trailer, and being in a bathing suit (at a water park).  We had a lot of fun!

Following in the pedals of her mom, The Orange Menace, Mini Menace will be spreading the love of cycling at a Critical Mass near you!  Her first one will be Vancouver's Critical Mass this Friday!!

Three and a half months old!

Okay, I need to stop saying this but I can't believe how fast babies grow and change!  Lots of new developments but the funnest thing has definitely been the giggles.  She is starting to look more like us, too - you will see the resemblance in a few photos, including the backlit hair and the joint look of concentration while mowing the lawn.  She also got to meet her new little cousin, Harper, who is about a month younger, which was fun (for us at least - I don't think they had a clue).

Two months old today!!

Well, where does the time go? It’s been another fun month. The little stinkbug has been up to all sorts of shenanigans – being awake more, holding her head up, lots of spa/salon time, learning to blow bubbles, hiking, starring in an ad for a family pack of knitted toques, telling Grandma stories, escaping from swaddle blankets, even trying to suckle a plush dog. It's exhausting, really - time for another nap!
