Getting Ready to Leave!

It all started when my friend Lena forwarded an e-mail to me titled "up for a big sailing adventure with kids?". I thought "yeah!" and e-mailed Celia to say I would be happy to help her and her son Dylan sail their new boat Fanfaron from Croatia to their home in Chile.

Celia, Dylan and crew have been in Croatia now for more than a month getting Fanfaron ship shape and ready to sail. Dylan chose the colour for her newly painted hull.

The plan is for Nelson and I to both join the Fanfaron crew for the summer, island hopping in the Mediterranean. He will return home in September for school and I will continue to sail for South America. Needless to say, we are super busy getting ready and both nervous and excited!!
